Draft of 18 October 2026 — in force once the shop opens. Bracketed parts are not decided yet.
What Patternflow Prints collects when you order a print, why, who else handles it, how long it is kept, and how to ask us about it. The shop is run from Korea, under Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act.
Who is responsible
Patternflow Prints is run by [to be confirmed: business name] (“we”). The person responsible for your details is our representative, [to be confirmed: representative’s name]. Write to contact@patternflow.work about anything on this page.
What we collect
- When you order: your email address, your full name and your shipping address — street, apartment, city, postal code, state or region, country. We do not ask for a phone number.
- What you order: the prints, their size, frame and paper, a moment you picked, the prices and your order number.
- When you pay: you pay on PayPal, and we never see your card. PayPal tells us whether the payment went through, its amount and reference numbers, and the payer details it sends with them.
- While you browse: your bag stays in your own browser until you check out. To stop abuse, the checkout counts requests from each IP address for a minute, and our host, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and browser details to deliver and protect the site.
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking.
What we use it for
- To take your payment, have your print made and shipped, and tell you about your order.
- To answer you, and to handle a return, a refund or a complaint.
- To keep the records Korean law asks online sellers to keep.
- To protect the shop from fraud and abuse.
Nothing else — and we never sell your details.
How long we keep it
As long as Korea’s Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce asks, then we delete it:
- Records of orders, cancellations, payments and deliveries: 5 years.
- Records of complaints and disputes: 3 years.
- Test orders, made before the shop opens: one day.
- Your bag: in your browser, until you empty it or clear the site’s data.
Who else handles it, and where
These companies handle your details for the shop, outside Korea. Each receives them when you place or pay for an order, over an encrypted connection to its systems.
- PayPal
- PayPal Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) and its affiliates. Your name and shipping address, with the items and amounts — to take your payment. Kept under PayPal’s privacy statement.
- Gelato
- Gelato AS (Norway), and the printer it picks near your address. Your name, shipping address and email, with the items and their print files — to print, pack and ship your order. Kept as long as the order needs it.
- Cloudflare
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States). All of the above — it hosts the shop, its order records and the print files. Kept for the times above.
- We write to you from contact@patternflow.work, through [to be confirmed: email provider].
These transfers are what make an order possible. If you do not agree to them, please do not place an order — without them we cannot take a payment, or make and ship a print.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or ask us to stop using them: write to contact@patternflow.work, and we answer within 10 days. What the law asks us to keep (above) stays until its time is up, used for nothing else.
If we cannot settle it, you can also turn to:

- Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee — kopico.go.kr, 1833-6972

- Korean National Police Agency, cyber bureau — ecrm.police.go.kr, 182
How we delete it
When a record’s time is up, we delete it from the order database and its print files from storage, so that it cannot be restored. Paper copies, if any, are shredded.
How we keep it safe
- The site and every transfer above use encrypted connections.
- Order records open only to the seller, behind a sign-in.
- Print files are reached only through signed links that expire after 7 days.
- Payment and service keys are kept as encrypted secrets, never in the shop’s code.
Children
The shop is not meant for children under 14, and we do not knowingly take their orders.
Changes
When this page changes, so does its date; a change that matters is said on the site. In force from [to be confirmed: the day the shop opens]. See also the terms of sale.
